CLODIE VASLI was born in southern Brazil and lives in Nottingham, UK. He is a writer and translator and holds a Bachelor's degree in Media Studies. Clodie has been a columnist for magazines and newspapers. His debut short story collection, De Passagem (2013) was short-listed in the UK for the Brazilian International Press Awards 2014. His second book Apagando Um Cigarro Atrás do Outro (Confraria do Vento Publishing) was released in 2014 and is currently being translated into English. This book became part of the Portuguese catalogue at the Taylor Institution Library (University of Oxford) in 2015. His poetry has been included in the Anthology of Contemporary Brazilian Poetry Patuscada (Antologia Inaugural Patuscada, Patuá Publishing, 2016).
